We are all aware of the achievement gap in education and the need to break the stronghold of generational poverty. At Hope, we strive to transform lives for Christ by offering a classical Christ-centered education, setting high expectations and instilling discipline, providing numerous parental involvement opportunities, forming family/church/community partnerships, and by holding teachers, students and parents accountable.

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers serve a multitude of roles at our school and we are truly grateful that they share their gifts, talents, and time with us.

Our prayer is that the ministry of generosity to Hope Preparatory will tear down walls that separate the wealthy and the poor to foster a spirit of gospel harmony in our city. We pray that Hope Preparatory School students will devote themselves to their studies and draw ever closer to Christ our Lord. We thank God for the opportunities to serve our students and families and ask for discernment on how best to serve our community. Parents and grandparents are invited to join us on Thursday mornings at 8:25 for a time of prayer and Bible Study. Please refer to our newsletter for our current prayer needs.

Volunteers from our community are integral to the mission of Hope Preparatory School. They provide enrichment and curriculum support and serve as mentors and role models for our students. We have truly gifted volunteers who come on a regular basis to teach, love, and support our students, staff, and families.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help during the school day and after school in the following areas.
- Tutors to provide 1:1 assistance to students in the areas of math and reading
- Library assistance
- Bible Study Leaders
- After School Club Leaders
- Lunchroom Helpers
- Special Project Helpers
***Volunteers over the age of 18 will need to provide permission for a background check, which we provide at no cost.

As a partner, you will be given a student to pray for and you will have the unique opportunity to see first-hand the difference you are making in the life of your student through teacher updates, letters, and visits with him or her on Partner Days. This foundational gift contributes to scholarships needed for students to reach full tuition. It also supports the provision of curriculum and supplies, Field trips, art and music education, and more!
